More Clamps

Why do these stores do this to us unsuspecting customers. I went into my local, cheap tool, place to find a grinding disc. I came out with 2 more 24” quick grip clamps, a diamond sharpening file, 4 power magnifying reading glasses, 70% OFF regular price. Most of the store yesterday was 70% OFF...Do these stores not know I am a weak customer, I buy things ON sale even if I don’t need them ? Hang a little red or yellow tag saying ON SALE and its like a magnet, just draws me in .
I do think a woodworker cannot ever have too many clamps ! (ö¿ö)
