This is a flame birch box with a birds-eye maple top...The ribbon handle is a combination of cherry with Quina as the outside lamination, and was wrapped and recessed into the box sides...Quina was also used for the corner points...A majority of the wood is from Maine, except of course for the Quina...The finish is natural tung oil.
